This was sent to me. A comment by Maxine. Very funny. Very sad because it’s true.
Let me get this straight . . . . We’re going to be “gifted” with a health care
plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don’t, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor,
but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn’t understand it, passed by a Congress that didn’t read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes, for which we’ll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that’s broke!!!!! ‘What could possibly go wrong?’
For God’s sake, why do we hero worship idiots? Why is it our society can tell you who is on Dancing with the Stars but cannot tell you who the Secretary of State is? Charlie Sheen, high on drugs gets more attention that our being worried about the danger our troops face in combat. We are more worried about the fighting over Elizabeth Taylor’s fortune than the family of a young Marine killed defending our country. Why is that?

0418 3/29/11………..When will we come to the realization that these people we elect work for us and deserve to be treated as employees and not permanent position holders to hero worship. We are the ones who need to learn to control this nonsense. Four years employment then out the door. No retirement program. No permanent health benefits. No right to raise their wages or to give themselves cost of living raises. Enough, America, enough. Wake up.
These people work for you and for me and we need to make sure they understand that….but more importantly, we need to understand that.
