THOUGHTS OF A POET IN THE RAIN

So, we come to another July 5.  And what have we learned on the days slipped into history this year. What lay ahead, what was behind. I know not the answer. For the past begets the future. Just as the Phoenix rises from its ashes, so does our future rise from our past. And the day before yesterday today shall become tomorrow before today became yesterday.
