Our second oldest Alpaca just passed away. Bangs was an import from Peru in 1998. She was a quiet girl. She produced beautiful creas. She was a loving mother. She was regal. She could easily be picked out as she had a distinctive profile. Like Gail, who passed this past week, she was loved and loved in return.
Our friend Pat was with her when she passed, her husband, Ted, was off the farm getting gas and a needed part for their tractor/mower. He rushed back home but it was over. Nothing could be done. She was at least 16 if not older. She was one, along with Gail, who had a permanent home with us no matter what. We all loved her.
