(Three poems in one.)

Death of Music

The stench of death and of decay

Floats in the air about me today.

There and near and around blind walk the dead

Unknown to the chains in trance are led.

The killers proud walk among those blinded by the lies.

Time to say our final good-byes.

They sit and laugh at comedic behavior

And believe the words of a false savior

Who walks proud and arrogant among the near dead

For the poison they drank and now blind are easy led.

No One is Home Today.

There is no one at home today

They all went out, went out to play

I alone chose to sit and stay.

And look at empty frames.

Places where age left stains.

For it is leaving, has left, is now gone.

I knew it; I felt it…

Good morning, afternoon, evening!….I have a lot of followers from all over the world. Some of you may be celebrating Thanksgiving and some of you may not. Even so, I wanted to write you and say thank you for following this site. I have over 700 people following this site. That is quite a lot and I am honored to have you here

As a writer, I need to have people read what I write. Without you I am just someone sitting at a computer wasting time.

You are what is important to me individually and collectively. You power my day and my nights. Knowing you are there keeps me interested in what I do and hoping that what I do gives you pleasure. Otherwise, why do it.

So, regardless of what you are doing this day or this night when you read this, regardless of where you are; I want you to know that I am glad you are out there and I want to hear from you. I also am inviting you to my new site. And, I want you to please subscribe there and make comment to me. I need your support and I need your input into what I am doing. So, don’t be shy.  Thanks again, Gordon.

Welcome New Followers!

Hello! I have been working on several projects and must apologize to those of you who recently (within the past month or so) have decided to follow my blog here. I am excited that you are here and I want to thank you all for following me. My excuse is that I have been working on a new site to promote my books and in the process of doing that my computer crashed. It took me two weeks to get the system back to where I think it should be. Thank God for the Dell Techs who took control of the computer several times and flushed out the viruses I had picked up. If you have a Dell I highly suggest that you get the service from them to protect your computer. They actually can take control of you computer and view it remotely. You sit there and watch your cursor move across the screen and you communicate with them in a message box or they can talk with you over the phone. They saved my butt!

The other thing I have been doing is writing. I know I told you all that Tincture Journal (an online magazine) published The Intersection in its September electronic publication. I was really excited about that and was happy to share the story with so many people. Tincture has a huge following.

The other thing I have been doing is working on the true crime novel: Predator, The Man Who Didn’t Exist.

I have crossed the 400 page mark and have about another 100 pages to write. I have been looking for an agent, but have not found one. I need to finish the book and if I have to do it I will publish it myself.

So, that is what has been going on with me.

I have to say you all have been great with your notes to me and with your visits. Thanks! I will write more later on, it is now 0530 here and I’ve been up about 3 hours. Just restless and wanting to communicate with you all. So, have a great day!
