In deep thought I am this night, this day, this hour, in this way. Forgiveness seems so far away for deeds undone, done, mistakes made, understandings laid aside. Somewhere, deep inside, I cried, cry, reach out, live and die. Somewhere I cannot find the answers to the questions I’ve put before myself. Somewhere there is piece missing, found, lost, covered with dust, washed clean, then disposed of with the garbage that seems to give birth to more pain, sorrow, shame, covered with blood. How can I not look at myself with anger, despair, and despise that which is within this bag of weak flesh and bone.
Hey, try saying missophiablog really fast three times in a row. Anyway, sorry, my mind was drifting there for a moment. Miss Sophia Blog is a blog that Miss Sophia started and you can find said blog with lots of neat stuff at:
There she writes: ” Hey! My name is Courtney, [wait..WAIT ..stop…didn’t she have her name listed as Miss Sophia?????? I mean if this is Miss Sophia’s blog she is writing about then it would be dereliction on my part to think that she was someone other than Miss Sophia…..I am so confused] I’m the writer and creator of Miss Sophia Blog [there ya go, she is deceptive, trying to confuse me and you]. I made this blog because I have a very strong passion for writing, beauty and fashion and I wanted to share it with the world and what better way to do that than start a blog.”
And she did start a blog…. kinda sounds like one of those movies for kids…..she did start one, by gum…. southern/western slant on it. I have no idea where that “by gum” was started, but it was and is and I thought I’d toss it in here just, well, just because she did start a blog…. Note, see how I got it back to the original place there. I read a book on the fact that it is a good idea to wrap the writer back around to a starting point and ..well, there you have it, by gum. So, my suggestion is that you, the reader, yep, you should go and take a look at what she did. I did and I like it so I think you would also.
Okay, this is a three in one post. The following followers websites are fun to visit and most intertaining. I am listing them in a group because I am going nuts listening everyone separately.
1st one: Words on a Blackboard. … I taught at USF and in one of the classes I used to teach I would always start the clss by asking them “What color is the blackboard?” And no one every got the answer right. She writes:
No matter who we are and where we come from
We are all travellers in the same world
But then we live in worlds that we call our own
And we need words to make sense out of each
2nd one: http://surprisesaffron.wordpress.com/2014/10/12/labote-at-gallery-night-2014/
Lady has over 3,000 followers. Holy cats!
Has to do with arts, food, and travel…interesting. Lot of art. Kiln type art. I took an art course once in highschool….I flunked it.
3rd one: http://steveroseblog.com/2014/11/28/veterans-as-military-alumni/
This is a good transistions piece. Our military needs to be supported. Being a VN Vet and knowing first had what it is like to not be supported I think this is a great site.
Well, I’ll be dogged, as a friend of mine used to say, it’s a landing page! No. He didn’t say it’s a landing page, he said, “I’ll be dogged.” That is kinda like, I’ll be darned, but it’s dogged is what he used to say instead of the word darned. I don’t know why, I guess because darned is kin to damned and he didn’t want to say that he’d be damned because that carries with it some serious connotations of sorts…you know.. hell and such and so it was better to just say, “I’ll be dogged.” I supposed that could mean he was dogged as a dog did something to him. I had a dog pee on my leg once. I suppose I could have said, “I’ll be dogged” when that happened. But I don’t think my friend would have said something like that at the time and all the time I was around him that never happened to him so I never got the chance to find out just what he might have said when he got pee’d on if he ever got pee’d on which I doubt. I think I just stood too long in one spot one day and the neighbors dog, who was blind, mistook me for a tree and slid up along side, hiked his leg, and let go a stream that would have made the closing up of the dead sea by Moses look puny.
Well, I digress. What we have here is a landing page for a teenage sci-fy book.
Very well-built, I must add.
